Oh, is this thing still on? Well, I've been living in the big city of chicago for about 10 or 11 months now, having originally moved here in 2007. I guess I'll fill all of you in with a few of the things I've been up to... 1) Employment I'm still working at the datacenter. I work the midnight shift for 4 nights in a row, and then I have 4 days off. The shift runs for 12 hours, during which I can either be found fixing customer servers, setting up new servers, upgrading servers, organizing the datacenter, pounding the di.fm breaks & gabber channels, or just sitting around on aim & irc if there isn't anything else to do. 2) Days off These

Yeah, i just moved to Chicago today. I got a job at a big fancy datacenter in late may, and I start this week. So, i took the train here today, and now I'm here apartment hunting. That's all for now. If you want to know anything, feel free to ask. Au Revoir!

A friend of mine gave me an offer I couldn't refuse, and sold me almost $400 worth of gear for $160. Here's a little rundown of things I got: Nikon n80 film camera body Nikkor 28 - 80mm lens Sigma 75 - 210mm lens Hoya filter for nikkor lens CPC filter for sigma lens nikon strap Some brand of camera travel bag 5 rolls of film Here's a picture of the camera with the 210mm lens: http://a.photos.cx/nikon002-424.jpg Downside: I don't have a scanner. So, I'm going to have to save up and get one, but it's nearing christmas time, so I won't be able to get one for myself until during or after the holidays.  I did call the local photolab, an

:eyes: you were there!!
:paranoid: you left evidence :mwahaha:
right on, hope you've been shooting a bunch with it.. that's a nice camera, i used to own one. i ended up giving it to my sister as a present before i moved out to the east coast.
it was a very unintentional ghetto trip.. we weren't paying attention on the subway and because of construction the F train became the C train. before we knew it, we were in the ghetto :p we had to walk about 15 blocks without seeing a single cab before we found the right subway.
between me and my friend, we probably had almost $70,000 worth of gear.
holy crap.. thanks amigo :D
i'm exhausted and going through photos.. me and my friend came down to new york for the weekend and we spent the last 11 hours walking around with 50 pounds of gear each on our back. one very important thing we learned tonight: ain't no cabs in the ghetto.
